I think of all the young junior does I have right now, this young lady has to be my favorite. She's nearly perfect conformationally which surprises me since she's from a huge outcross buck. If her mammary system turns out even half as nice as her dam's and sire's dam's, I'm going to be one VERY happy goat breeder. Waiting to breed her is going to drive me nuts!

I had this young doe on the sale's page for a while, then absolutely could not bring myself to sell her. You can't see her for all her hair in her photo, but she's just exquisite. She's definitely going to be part of our showstring this Spring.

Another one of our outcross kids. Our general appearance seems to have held strong in our crosses which makes me very happy indeed. Add in a striking color pattern and you have gilded the lily. Now, if I can pull that gorgeous mammary system that Show Tunes sports into the mix I'll have succeeded in this particular venture. Raising the bar...isn't that what it's all about?!

I like this kid. I like this kid a lot. So far she's better conformationally than her dam which was exactly the point of this particular cross. Now hopefully she'll have as lovely a mammary system as her dam with increased teat size. Maintain the capacity that her dam exhibits, and I'll be VERY pleased!

I'm glad I kept this kid. I had this cross last year and unfortunately I lost the doe to a very bad kidding. She was beautiful, so I'm hoping this young lady will be equally so. She's as goofy as Damselfly though, so she'll take some work calming her down. Hopefully she'll be worth our efforts.

I gotta get a picture of this kid. She's so pretty and strikingly colored. Take a plain old black and tan buckskin and add large black polka dots to her rear half and you get the idea of this kids coloring. It's quite stunning. I admit, I kept this doe over her sister quite simply because I thought she was cool looking. Let's hope my silly gesture pays off!

I have to admit, I'm particularly fond of this kid too. She's a beautiful chamoise with cute white markings on her face. BUT...the great thing about her is her general appearance. She's just as dairy and pretty as she can be. Now, hopefully Mimnet's mammary system will come through with her dam's capacity and this doe will be just about perfect.

I must admit, I did NOT like this kid's dam at all. She was a trainwreck if I ever saw one. However, I got lucky and Top Gun pulled this kid out of the wreckage and made a gorgeous doe kid for me. If Silhouette's udder will show up, this is going to be a great example of a well bred little goat. Guess we'll have to wait and see!

Littermate to Willow above. This doe is completely different in type than her sister but nice enough all the same. She's a much more refined type, however she's showing a lot of Top Gun's nicer qualities also. I'll just have to wait and see if my breeding instincts were correct when I put together this cross. Hopefully it will work out.

Lady Luck though small is a typical Luck of the Draw daughter. Lady is also very *typy* however, she's a great mix of our favorite Bounty Hunter and Luck of the Draw genetics. In fact, I like her almost as much as I do Keena. Her head is an exact replica of MCH Giddy-Up, so if she turns out as gorgeous as my Giddy...well, I'll be quite giddy indeed! :o)
